Projects have different views: List, Table, Board, and Portfolio. Each has distinct roles and benefits. The board view (kanban) displays your projects more visually, helping you to easily change statuses by using drag and drop.
The default state of a project is the Backlog, but you can create custom project statuses from the Company settings area → Project statuses.
